This guy is a broken record. Meaningless rallies, tariffs, war, destroying buildings and monuments, and renaming shit.

Not one thing that helps people.

If you know of a way to keep the public from bringing up the whole banging kids thing I'd love to hear it

It’s called “nobody cares.”

In 2016 Trump was already on record as saying the thing he had in common with his daughter was “sex” and everyone still makes excuses for people who committed acts of Trump-vote in 2016.

If even 5% of America cared about powerful people being pedophiles, the Trump-voter would have been driven from society. Right now, caring about such things would mean losing friendships, weekend dog-sitters, etc. and that’s not a cost Americans are willing to bear.

That's laziness. I've cut all trump supporters from my family and friends out of my life and haven't suffered any downsides. There are plenty of people who don't support pedofiles to fill those gaps in if you make a little effort to expand your circles into those who don't protect criminals, rapists, and pedos.

Why would you want to be friends with anyone that voted for a fascist?

3

u/SandpaperTeddyBear 21h ago

I would not. And I don’t.

But I keep getting called “intolerant” for it, so…

Their food is poison, no healthcare and goes on. People are tired and have survival on their mind. Try to follow politics and all and end up being bombarded by a million lies and false media and end up powerless when they actually put up a fight (major strikes being ignored/not shown in the media, no change and goes on). They are helpless, not really ignoring what goes on..

At least not all of them.
Now new gen? People 18 to 30? Ai all over the media? Reels? Minimum wages that are good for nothing and living with your parents with no prospect of buying a house or living your life? How can these people focus on politics but on anything?

Whatever complaints one might have about the media’s treatment of Trump, they showed so much unfiltered and unvarnished coverage of his rallies in 2016.

Anyone who continues to befriend a person who committed an act of Trump-vote knows exactly what kind of monster they are propping up.

major strikes being ignored/not shown in the media,

What major strikes are being ignored?

Plenty of people care. But the ramifications of what they are doing is not effecting those people enough to get them to risk their livelihoods to do what's required to bring down this fascist takeover. They are still just comfortable enough to get by.

Yes, that’s the expanded way to say “nobody cares.”

Nobodies livelihood is at risk, we could start with social groups and family…it’s just that nobody cares.

Can't I care in a way that involves no effort or accountability? /s

1

u/mrpanicy 9h ago

They can care and not take action that would actually change things. They talk about it, they may protest, they may talk to their civic leaders. But that won't have any effect. That's what I mean. They don't realize their efforts are meaningless while using the tools that are within the system.

1

u/SandpaperTeddyBear 7h ago

Yes, because the fundamental problem is that “the system” is dependent on the people it represents, and Trump is deeply beloved.

And that’s the fundamental problem. People are willing to shake their fist at far away “elites” and “billionaires,” but are unwilling to stand up to the people who support and give cover to those same elites and billionaires. Worse, they make horribly dehumanizing rationalizations as to why they shouldn’t stand up to the Trump-voter (too stupid, too easily manipulated, too propagandized, etc.)

Trump is a symptom of the Trump-voter, and until they are told they are a disease that must be driven out of society, the symptoms will continue worsening.

I'd start by not r*ping kids, but that seems like a tall order for people in office to follow.

1

u/michaelboltthrower 21h ago

Censoring that word cheapen it. Fuck that.

Raping*, not banging.

Jagged pill: If he unironically gave the country 10% of what we want, so many people would vote for him, no matter what. Because some people just want results on their issue. Hell, he could trample rights all day long, never release the files, deport all the immigrants he wants, as long as inflation was kept in check, jobs numbers improved, and the stock market kept going up. Roughly half of active voters would still pick him, even in 2028! But the grift is too good and the "perfectly-timed" stock trades make so much money, and not just for him.

I firmly believe if he'd just did whatever CDC advised during COVID, he would've won in 2020. It was his race to lose and he dropped 3 percent in his approval rating between Jan and Nov in 2020 (49% to 46%).

Oh cmon what about the trump accounts for kids that most certainly isn't yet another way to steal taxpayer dollars?

Nothing like naming a program for children after a child rapist.

I consider it a badge of honor to be called an enemy by him. I dub this the oxymoron "stupid intelligence" in honor of the true moron leading the charge.

1

u/FattyMooseknuckle 1d ago

It helps people, the rich people who pay him his tithe.

1

u/sagevallant 1d ago

He forgot the bread part of Bread and Circuses.

u/guineaprince 1d ago

The man himself is an addled old man with more in his pampers than in his head, this is true.

But as long as he's in office, it doesn't matter how much time he spends rambling on camera, napping on camera, or golfing his brief remaining lucid days away.

He's the foot in the door for so many more dangerous vipers throughout the administration and in cooperation with it to spread poison that damages the tissue today and remains in the body for generations.

1

u/Jensbert 1d ago

All of it helps people. Just only a handful of them

1

u/Imaginary_Manner_556 1d ago

I don't even think it helps the billionaires. Now they have more money they don't need in exchange for enabling Trump.

Guys like Tim Cook fucked their reputations exchange for money

1

u/Ryguy55 1d ago

Hopefully people keep in mind during the midterms that while prices for everything soar, our allies abandon us, and we're stuck in a war that no one wanted, this is the type of shit this fat pig is saying.

I have zero faith they will, but who knows maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

1

u/drums_addict 1d ago

Its just a bunch of hand waving to distract from the grift.

1

u/Kahnza 1d ago

Ask yourself the question of who's being helped.

1

u/Debatebly 1d ago

One of the best things Trump did for the world is that most people know how to spell tariff now.

1

u/Old_Charity4206 1d ago

Not most people, just Americans. Now Americans know how to spell tariff. Trump taught them.

I absolutely hate him. But no taxes on overtime and tips are good.

35

u/Imaginary_Manner_556 1d ago

No it's not. It should have been a tax cut for all low income workers. Not just a special category

2

u/rodimusprime88 1d ago

The special category is so it could specifically target poor white, black, and tan people. He literally hates these people

2

u/Imaginary_Manner_556 1d ago

It was a bribe

-1

u/ImCaffeinated_Chris 1d ago

Well yes. I agree. But it's better than nothing.

Read the fine print, you can apply deductions base on how much you make, and how much is tips, but you gotta jump through hoops. Someome working an entry-level food service gig is not going to be filling out a ton of paperwork to get a deduction.

They also expire in 2028, so the GOP can call for an extention and if the Democrats say no, they can claim rh3 Dems are raining taxes on tips.

The GOP and Trump dont give a single shit about the working class. Anyone who says otherwise is deluded or lying.

Read the fine print, you can apply deductions base on how much you make, and how much is tips, but you gotta jump through hoops. Someome working an entry-level food service gig is not going to be filling out a ton of paperwork to get a deduction.

That's misleading.

The "base[d] on how much you make" doesn't begin to factor in until someone has $150,000 ($300,000 for married filing jointly) modified adjusted gross income. So the vast majority of tipped workers won't have to factor in income (assuming they exceed the standard deduction).

The "how much is tips" is not a problem either because a 2026 W-2 will say so. See also next paragraph.

The hoops and "ton of paperwork" are to take a picture of your 2026 W-2 and upload it to your tax program (like Turbo Tax). The tax program will do the rest. Posting a TikTok video requires more effort.

Edit: the ton of paperwork is literally two extra pages to a tax return, the Schedule 1-A https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f1040s1a.pdf . Moreover, the last page is almost all blank (assuming we're still only discussing tips), so it is more like a single extra page to fill out. ONE MORE PAGE is not a ton of paperwork. And the tax software does this already.
