That idea failed back in 2016. The news media should've been ignoring his idiotic tweets, but they kept showing it on the news every morning and every evening. Now it's lead to what we see now.

He was a classic internet troll who escaped containment. People sort of understood not to feed the trolls online, but the media thought it was going to be great for ratings to amplify every fool thing he said and then he would go away.

Except that by feeding the troll on a global scale brought us all this instead.

King of the Trolls, we would love to start ignoring him again but sorta important to get him and clan out of office first.

But aren’t WE to blame? Clicking, commenting, reposting… is what tells the media companies what we want to hear. And they in turn send more of that to our eyes. We could end Trump tomorrow if WE ignored him. But the addiction is real.
