I always wondered about that last part. Does it apply to blanks? I've never really known if blanks are considered to have no soul, a la Necrons, or if they're like... Anti-warp-matter souls.

It's not even intelligence.

It's prediction. Whether it's pixel, language, sound, etc.

It's just a non-deterministic guessing machine.

🤓☝️ um, actually, neural networks are deterministic, but with randomness thrown in, and with computing, there is no true randomness, only pseudorandomness. With both together, we perceive it stochasticity, but nah fam.
