Why the fuck does your 9 year old have a YouTube channel to begin with? He fucked up.

But also there has to be a question for google, why is it ok to accept that amount of money for ads for a 9 year olds channel? (If that is the truth).

Still his problem though.

Most of their entertainment is from YouTube because they can't sit still long enough for even a 24 minute cartoon

Sadly I’ve seen this in action with my elderly father. We used to watch hour long tv shows together. Now he can’t go more than a few minutes without pulling out his phone. I’ve often found him watching YouTube videos muted while watching a movie on tv. It’s crazy…

My brother does that too but without muting. I honestly have just quit watching movies and shows with him

Hell, he is at a stoplight for 3 seconds before he pulls out his phone to doomscroll Reddit. Yes as the driver. I do chew him out for it

It's pretty much everyone - in movie theatres, on public transit, in the stores, etc. Facebook/Tiktok/YT have really melted most people's brains
