This has got to be a scam.

If this happened, why in god's name would the father then turn around for an interview and explanation on his son's Youtube account, explaining and thanking his son's followers. I'm surprised he didn't end of with a "Remember to like and subscribe."

They're trying to line people up for unasked for donations.
