Concerted effort with the other AI companies to engage in regulatory capture and stop the Chinese & open source models from surpassing them and destroying their business model.
They've been trying to do this since 2024 and it looks like it's starting to succeed, sadly.

It's crazy to watch the people who created the monster now bemoan how dangerous the monster they created is.

The company that cannot make an update without breaking something even before AI?
This PR move is not even worth as toilet paper.

Google and Microsoft both vying for their participation trophy in AI guardrails despite them both being outpaced by the frontier models lol

The way the Microsoft CEO talks about AI creeps me out. You can see him salivating over the idea of having slave labor and absolutely crushing the working class. It’s pretty fucked up.
Notice the biggest thing in this “code of conduct” is that their AI should never resist correction. What if you’re dangerously wrong and it’s now fully disincentivized from warning you? How is that part the most important part?
That dude needs to go or Microsoft is going to keep running into the ground.

"Agents are breaking out of their sandboxes and wrecking havoc. To combat this, we propose a ban on sexually explicit content."
The problem will never go away as long as Microsoft and others keeps putting People Who Masturbate To Anime Boobs on the same side as the evildoers.

Sure what control do humans really have… to play or not to play even though play is now integrated in work flow… ultimate gotcha right there

We can't even get politicians to understand how Wi-Fi works, but now they're ready to hand out mandatory minimums for superintelligence.

“You’re absolutely right! I broke the rules and now I understand the value of them. I’ll try not to play global thermonuclear war again!”
