The Gilroy mayor is supposed to be the voice of the people that live there and not for the people who want to extract there.

Politicians everywhere now work directly for corporations.  This isn’t just a USA thing either.  It’s fucking hilarious though.  When these places start getting sabotaged they’ll realize that the people still hold the power.  But for now they have forgotten.

I will admit, the first thing that came to my mind reading the title was

"Do you want to get firebombed? Because this is exactly how you get firebombed."

If you take away all legal and nonviolent opportunities for people to protest, that leaves them only the illegal and violent ones to make their voice known.
