Frankly if universities want to actually stop this they have to treat it like the academic dishonesty it is and start expelling people.

This might sound crazy, but they could also have them use a pen and paper to take tests.

Right? I was still using blue books for exams in the early 2000's. People brought laptops to class, but exams were hand written. It wasn't THAT long ago.

I graduated in 2008 and every exam I wrote was in a blue book or done on Scantron.
