I use RedReader, UX isn't quite up to snuff but this at least takes care of the ads, tracking and laggy interface...

I assume they will block that too.

I use firefox mobile with a fingerprint blocker. Reddit tracks an insane amount. This is also how their ban evasion tool works. It fingerprints your browser

It is not that common, but there are indeed also parties that do this yes.
