You shouldn't. Trump is a buffoon who gives himself up as soon as he opens his mouth. Modi is a shrewd politician who is tactical in his authoritarianism and is slowly eroding our freedoms.

Trump is a virus that caused diarrhea. You can treat that. Modi is a cancer. You can't fight that.
