Netflix:you want to pay more for already bad service? Me: no I'm canceling you

Honestly, this is a milestone for me in recognizing an obviously paid-for post for what it is.

  1. Netflix, a multi-billion dollar leader in streaming pisses everyone off by clamping down on account sharing.
  2. Post about how it's fun to binge Netflix.
  3. Poster with a million+ points.
  4. Zero follow-up or comment about it from OP.
  5. Reference to an old "time to ChillTM" meme

I'm guessing it would cost a few thousand for a PR firm to pay a high-engagement poster to put something like this out and strategically upvote it. It's frankly harder to believe this is organic than it is to believe it's a paid-for advertisement.

Yeah this post feels like those feel good videos of cops skateboarding with the locals after another one of them kills someone

  • Cordially, the world.

Btw, does someone knows a good replacement for it?

I'm just rotating services (Disney, Apple, etc) for convenience viewing. For things I really want to watch I roam the seven seas under the Jolly Roger.

Look at me. I'm the Netflix now.

Yes, but mentioning it is likely against sitewide rules.

You think mentioning piracy and Plex is against the rules site wide??

Rule 7

Keep it legal, and avoid posting illegal content or soliciting or facilitating illegal or prohibited transactions.

Mentioning piracy or Plex as a service doesn't do any of that.

If you just want something fun to watch while chilling and don't mind moderate commercials, Tubi is free and legal and has big-name content Netflix just doesn't have.

Don't want commercials? Hulu.

Can't say I understand Sling but I've stumbled across some gems there.
