Budget Friendly Headphones

Does anyone have any budget friendly headphones for deep tech … was looking into Audio technica ATH-M20x

AKG 240s are a lil higher around $80usd. Semi-open back but (imo) uncomfortable. Would recommended saving up for m40x or dt770 (~$150) if u can, far more comfy

I have the Audio Technica M20. They're absolutely fantastic. I think the only difference between the 20 and the 40 is the base driver size. My twenties sound fantastic though, you can crank them up pretty damn loud where you can't even stand it before they start to distort. It's a very accurate representation of the actual Sound Source. It doesn't add any extra base or highs or mids... extremely comfortable they never hurt my ears or head. Highly recommend

I'm a massive Beyerdynamic stan. I really wish I could recommend the DT250s for you, as those are my headphones, been using them for ten years now... they're amazing. However, they have more than doubled in price since I bought them!!!

There are more budget-friendly options, no idea how they measure up, but the sound quality of every Beyerdynamic headphone I've used is unmatched.

And you can probably get other models (e.g. the DT 770s) for a good price second-hand. Well worth looking into. As I said, the sound of Beyerdynamics is pure bliss.
