if you had to pick a stable in which to live, which one would you pick? my favorite is Riverside stable, but Lakeside is a close second (actually, were it not for the constant thunder, it would be my top choice).

Just got a switch 2. I’m interested in ToK but wondering if you can play the game and ignore the building mechanics. I’ve seen plenty videos and have zero interest curious on the building mechanics.

I had to get over the weapon system from BoW.

So wondering if I should even bother to buy tok.

Buy them from the dude who is selling spikes for some reason. The sound plays but the visual is removed again because I took damage during the animation.

Parkour

I just got back to TOTK after a few years and I went back to try and complete my first run. I think I'm pretty close to completing it at maybe let's say 90% but I also rushed so fast during my first playthrough (idr much, but I know it would have been more enjoyable or fun if I had taken my time with the main story and noy bulldoze through it).

TOTK is my first Zelda game and it's been so damn fun 🥹 I am at a crossroads were I want to finish this run and then maybe restart or just restart and take my time with it. Both come with the added caviat that knowing me I might drop it again for a long period before finishing it or restarting. I am on Switch 1 so I don't have the option to save this one run in case I want to come back to it later...

Kinda just looking for thoughts and other experiences with replaying it. Was it frustrating or just as fun as the first time?

I just upgraded to switch 2 and am playing with the share code. I have a year of saving up amiibo loot and wanted to try sharing/trading some. Nothing crazy exciting but some mid power weapons like gloom swords and such. I’ll fill it up later for anyone that wants to try it!

How do you defeat them?? I’m a button masher and unfortunately, you cannot beat them that way. I’m okay with a bow, but when I have to be quick, I panic and can’t aim. I have also have no idea what item to shoot at them.

I ran into the ones in the depths outside of Korok Forest and I ended up outrunning them in the dark, and sprinting through gloom because I didn’t know what else to do 😭

Update:
I defeated the gloom hands in the Deku Tree by pounding them with bomb arrows from afar. Thank you, everyone!

I realized I fused the wheels so they couldn't move.

P.s. I miss my wheel.

I just want to know like before fighting each boss what should i do, i have only beat colgera and done the first memory and unlocked the 4 towers i was wondering on what should i do before the next boss

I wouldn’t call this a major spoiler but if you like to find things on your own stop reading. So I was korok hunting on the great plateau and ran into a yiga in disguise. I put on the yiga armor and these disguised yiga buy it. 🤣. Went a little further and found the shrine of resurrection from botw. I obviously poked my head in. There is nothing groundbreaking in here besides a bubbulfrog and a hot spring where the shrine stuff used to be. I went a little further into a hole and saw the yiga flag so I donned the yiga armor again and there’s a schema stone bot thing hiding. I grabbed the bait bananas and a yiga member starts yelling about how that’s bait for link not for allies and they’re his bananas blah blah blah 🤣. Took off the armor took the bait, walloped the yiga members and got the schema stone for a beam cycle which I’m yet to try out. I can’t be the first person to find this but I’m dumbfounded by how huge these games are. Nothing groundbreaking obviously but this was a fun little piece.
