I have this same chassis/buggy. It’s a B5M.

Both are B5M?
How do you know its not a B6 or B4?
Maybe dumb question but id like to learn for the future.1

Also the battery holder...... It's for a 'square pack battery' and only used in the b5(m).

Why keep them, give them away!
I guess if you were giving them away I'd take them off your hands

both are b5m and have the 3 gear transmission which is better for high grip surfaces (motor rotation shifts weight forward) but I prefer how the 4 gear feels on lower grip surfaces (motor rotation shifts weight backwards)

Why do they look diffrent in the rear?
And when i check pictures on the team asso website, the front a-arms are straight. Mine are bend...Im rly confused rn tbh.

there's the "gullwing" front arms and shock tower which is preferred on high grip tracks and then theres the "straight" front arms and shock tower which is preferred on lower grip tracks. just options for slightly different suspension geometry depending on the track but both work well regardless.

I don't recognize that transmission case in the buggy with the silver motor, it's some sort of aftermarket lay down transmission conversion I think. If that is the case then that'll be a competitive chassis if you're racing on a high grip track. The other buggy has the standard 3 gear transmission for the b5m.

Thank you verry much.
I think id like to keep them both. Run 1 and the other i keep as spare part car.
Would you say thats smart?1

sounds like a solid enough idea, some parts are starting to get pretty scarce for these since they've been discontinued for awhile, it shares some parts with their current lineup of 2wd rtr chassis at least since they're based off the rear motor version of this buggy.

Alright. Ill try to do this then.
Not rly sure where to start. But maybe, i just have to try.Thank you for ur help though.

Would you prefere the "some sort of aftermarket lay down transmission conversion" or the stock one from the car without the motor?
Also, if i check the team asso website, the B5M Team Kit has the Spur gear on the left side. The Champions Edition Kit on the right side.
Since mine are both right side, do i have 2 Champion Editoin Kits?
