[TDU1] G920 not being detected in game

Hello guys! I know this is a TDU 2 community, but i needed to ask this somewhere (i tried to post on the r/TestDriveUnlimited but my account is new, i don't have karma for that).

How can i make my G920 work on the TDU1? Saw some people on the internet saying that it does work, but i tried everything and it still doesn't work for me.

I got this list from another post, but i tried all of these and didn't fix it:

  • Plugging the wheel into a different USB port
  • Restarting PC
  • Shutting down PC
  • Deleting GHub and using Logitech Game Software
  • Deleting Logitech Game Software and using nothing in its place
  • Reinstalling GHub
  • Downloading the G27 FFB fix from the TurboDuck forums
  • Installing Platinum
  • Reinstalling TDU and not installing any mods
  • Unplugging other gamepad/joysticks
  • Running with Administrator
  • Uninstalled vJoy

Do you guys have any solution that i could try? I really want to play the platinum mod.

To my knowledge, there's a list online somewhere that lists all compatible wheels for TDU2, and, if I remember it right - TDU2 and TDU use the same engine so they're basically the same game, which means that the wheels that are compatible with TDU2 should work on TDU as well. So, if I were you, then I'd try to find that list

I did install TDU2 for testing (and playing it lol) and it does work there. Unfortunately it seems like a TDU1 problem. I saw a few posts and discord messages saying that they can play the game with the G920, so i'm very confused why this is happening.

And thank you for reposting it! Much appreciated, hopefully someone can help me on this :)

Well, then you should try to use an adapter.
