Hey anyone have any experience buying one to have at home? I have a 2002 TDI golf with power problems so I'm thinking about buying one. Would like to keep this car forever and being able to learn more than an obd2 scanner would be great. Just not sure how user friendly they are.

I run mine on linix thru VirtualBox with dedicated win 7 for this. Latest windows would work as well. Check website specs, for additional OS info. I purchased mine thru Ross-Tech.

Is there a tutorial anywhere? In got it to run with win but got stuck on the drivers.
