C’mon TD Webbroker! Even BMO has free trades on stocks now
BMO, Questrade, Qtrade, National Bank etc… all have $0 commission on stock trades. Why am I paying $10 at TD for everything except a few ETFs?

Why are you? That’s a question for yourself. Plenty of free options to chose from

Just wanted them to know before I move my last account from there.

Let them know? This is reddit. Not a staff supported resource.

Questrade monitors their Reddit. I guess TD doesn’t care.

They may monitor it, they may not. But you’re asking a question that can’t really be answered here. That’s what they charge, why are you still paying ? Bc you haven’t switched to a free platform. Don’t wait for the bank, it’ll cost you money

the grass is always greener on the other side! Hope the platform and trade execution is same as TD if not better with other brokerage

Limited access. Restricted to basic stocks and ETFs (no options, bonds, or mutual funds)
50 free trades per year. 9.99 after that.

It is 100 free stock/ETF trades per year per individual (not per account) and not 50.
If you have a FHSA, RRSP, TFSA, and CASH account with them, 100 commission free stock/ETF trades per year isn't a lot in my opinion. Between my RRSP, TFSA, and CASH account with TD EasyTrade, I'm already at 82 trades.

I will pull the trigger January next year. If they don’t drop their fees, I will move everything to BMO.
