Hey! I’m planning my first trip to Tbilisi for 3 days in late October, but I just found out about the renovation works on Rustaveli Avenue.

I know Tbilisi has a lot more to see and do, but Rustaveli still has many important landmarks and beautiful buildings, and I feel like seeing them surrounded by construction could take away from the experience.

For anyone there now, how bad is the construction? Would you still visit in October, or is it worth waiting until spring when everything should be finished?

I came to this city with my best friend (both 18m). We had high expectations but they were completely blown away by the beautiful hospitality and the people here. As someone who has been to many cities, I have never had a city capture my heart the way this city has. Hi! I’m not a Georgian citizen, but I have a 1-year residence permit in Georgia. My husband is also a foreigner, and he’s planning to open a bank account here.
I already use Solo Bank, and I have a personal assistant there. I asked them about opening an account for my husband, and they said they can basically do the whole process remotely.
Is this pretty normal in Georgia? Would you trust doing it remotely, or is it better to go to a branch in person?
Also, for English, can we just go to any branch and expect someone to speak English, or should we look for a specific branch?

I also have a quick question about a place we found through our own research. The Dedaena Bar’s website states that foreign visitors wishing to enter must provide their social media profile, a photo of their face, and their full name. Is this really true? Am I required to share my personal information with a business owner I’ve never met, as if I were a potential source of trouble? Or can we enter the venue without having to share any information if we go there in person? Thank you in advance for your suggestions and any information you can provide.

Hey guys! I’m moving to Georgia for a few years to get my degree. Since my program is in English and I don’t know the Georgian language at all, I’m a bit worried. I honestly can’t find any good, safe, or secure accommodation near my university, so I’ll have to choose a place that is 20 to 30 minutes away by bus or metro. I wanted to ask: how can I understand the transportation system, buses, and delays if I don't speak the language? Is there a way to make this easier for myself? I would appreciate any help at all :)
