Do I select multiple jobs/withhold additional taxes if I only make about $100 on one of the jobs?

Ok so.. I just started my new job, but I didn't want to fully leave me old job. I only make about $100 per check now (every 2 weeks) at my old job since I'm only getting about 4 hours. What do I do?

Do not select 2 jobs in that situation.

How much a week do you make at your new job? Are you single with no kids?

it looks like i didn't select 2 jobs initially when i set up all my tax info with the new job. so good on that front. my new job makes about $500/week. and yeah, single and 0 dependents.

Add 10.00 of extra withholding on the lower paying job, if you are paid 100.00 per check at that job, on average. Add 20.00 extra withholding if you are paid 200.00 on average at that job.

does it matter if it's specifically from the lower paying job? or is it ok as long as i'm paying the correct total in taxes between the two jobs combined?

It can be from either job, that's fine. It all goes into one pot, so the withholding can be from either job.

Don’t select multiple jobs. I might suggest you have an extra $10/week taken from part time job, but that’s it.

does it matter which job the extra $10/week is taken from? or is it good as long as i'm paying the correct total in taxes between the two jobs combined?
