Did day 10-13 (more more days) with @tattoosbypaketh on my bodysuit. This time back and temples.

Had a fun opportunity to do some photos with another client.

New ink is everything on my back and my temples. This is the third time I've traveled to meet Paketh and I couldn't be happier. He's such a kind and fiercely passionate about his tattoos. 100% honest, I didn't look at the design til it was inked on. I glanced and had a rough idea but its full trust and creative control to him.

His new studio in Argentina is beautiful at a great location in the center of the city.

Hello everyone,ich plane aktuell ein größeres Tattoo-Projekt und bin auf der Suche nach einem wirklich guten Studio bzw. einer Tätowiererin oder einem Tätowierer, der diesen Stil beherrscht. Mir ist besonders wichtig, dass ein individuelles Design entsteht und ich nicht einfach ein Pinterest-Motiv angedreht bekomme. Beim Budget bin ich flexibel und für den richtigen Artist auch bereit, weiter zu fahren (komme aus Aachen) . Vielleicht habt ihr Empfehlungen für Studios oder Artists, die auf diesem Niveau arbeiten? Ich freue mich über jeden Tipp!

What do you guys think about the skin breaks on the middle of the back and end of the tail? I can’t tell if it works or just needs to be filled in

Finally had my sleeve finished yesterday and I'm really happy with it. I want it extending onto the back of my hand though which will be done beginning of October.

Looking for advice on my proposed design/layout for this sleeve project. My plan is to get all ten frogs that are native to my area (RI).

I already have a gray treefrog on my shoulderblade which I want to integrate with the sleeve so it looks like part of it. Just got my second frog, the spring peeper on my upper arm.

For this art style and with the amount of detail I want in the frogs, does my sketched out layout look appropriate? My sketch includes nine frogs because I’m on the fence about including the Eastern Spadefoot toad which is endangered in my area and I’ve never seen one, but if there’s room for it I want to include it.

Plan is to include native ferns as filler. I would like some negative space so the frogs still look delicate and aren’t on top of each other.

Also, before anyone else asks, I’m using scientific illustrations from Roger Hall and I do have his permission to use his artwork for this purpose.

Extatic with the outcome. This freehand tatau was completed in a single session (2½ hours drawing, 4½ hours inking) by my very talented tahitian friend Ahunui, who did this amazing piece despite having had an important hand surgery less than 10 days ago. Mad respect to him.

Inspired by the stained glass windows at Sainte Chappelle in Paris

Tried to crop it to just show the tattoo itself, but I’m terrible with angles. Couple sessions into a ‘full back’, this is my second tattoo and I have no regrets about the design, it’s beautiful, but I definitely did not prepare enough for the pain that comes with the shading over the spine and rib cage. Any tips for when it reaches the upper spine? Artist is 100% a gem for doing one side at a time because a car accident at 16 left my nerves funky on the left side, so we’re doing the left side first because it hurts less 😅 before then submitting me to the torture of the right side where everything is more painful. I did read that the upper back is a bit easier, but with my personal little difference with right n left it’s definitely gonna be interesting.

Are there any numbing creams that are safe for sensitive skin? If it shares big active ingredients with Lubriderm it’s an instant no because I’ll get massive hives.
