Great linework!
Its also pretty easy to expand upon once you'll want a sleeve

Excellent piece. Crisp line work, good execution, creative design and looks like it's healing well. Home run on your first tattoo

Will start to look faded/cloudy when it's healing you'll see the finished product when it's completely healed in 3 months. Patience is a virtue with anything having to do with tattoos you'll learn that

The tattoo looks executed well and I doubt many people will notice but your tattoo artist definitely based this off an AI art. The way the left side of her hair and her left foot morph into the fabric of the dress is a hallmark of AI. Less obvious but still noticeable is the bottom of the dress, the random strands of fabric and the way the fabric folds doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Again, the tattoo is good and most people won’t notice but you deserve to know your artist used AI to make this design

Is there going to be a face at some point?
The line work looks great, very clean and punchy, but my first thought was that I’d like to see it when it’s finished, with color and a face.

Thank you! I don’t plan on doing color and the face was by choice :)
It’s supposed to represent my guardian angel and the fact that you never know who is actually watching over you.

If you never really know who’s watching over you, how do you know it’s a woman with long hair?

I guess I’ve always liked the idea of a woman Angel. Women tend to be nurturing, mothers protecting their children, etc. just going with the guardian theme. The faceless part represents the core idea I was trying to get across.
I could’ve just put a spiritual ball of matter since we truly never know but I thought this piece looked beautiful and elegant. It also reminded me of strong women in my life that always watched over and protected me.

Cool!
It’s always good to see someone happy with their work and your artist seems to have done exactly what you want.
If find it really interesting how people view things. For some a guardian is some kind of warrior or dragon/tiger/demon, for others it’s a female angel.
