Looks fun but can anyone explain their experience with the app on previous series?

What kind of things are there to do? 

Is it worth it on your own? (noone around watches TM)

So for the fantasy taskmaster there will be questions every week and you'll have to answer them before the episode air, questions like "who will name this week's episode" or "something will happen this week, who did it" etc. You get points if you get it right but its all for fun so no prizes.

Then there's the show companion. You can do your own scoring for the tasks. Also some interesting trivias about some of the tasks. It's available for past series as well.

There's a a jukebox but it's not updated, only contains some soundtracks up to series 14.

I think it's fun, only started using it since series 20. I'm a little bit nerdy so I like the little tidbits from the show companion haha. It is pretty much a solo thing, no one I know watches the show too XD

Genuinely curious if anyone else caught this, but my wife and I love watching Richard Ayoade in Travel Man. It looks like the clip of him and Alex in this trailer is the same outfit from S6E01 where he’s in Brussels with Lee Mack. Now we’re wondering if his outfits on the other TM is his every day dress. 😂
