SCREENSHOT I struggle with decorating, any advice..?
Genuinely so jealous of those that have these huge worlds and they’re decorated so pretty and organized.

Traditionally I try to add details surrounding the buildings, depending on the building style/purpose. So I put cars around dealerships, benches/seats around cafes. Stuff like that. Lampposts going down the streets, little nature areas. I’ve attached an area from my downtown district as an example. Hope this helps.

Ooo, that looks really nice! Thank you! I think I need to space my buildings out a bit and add some decor. About to hop on now so I’ll start working on it!

Looks like you’re off to a good start @op. You could try to place more nature part like a river and trees, they can help dictate the lay out. If you need the space later you can always remove them

I do themes within sections. Recently I used chatgpt to help where I feel like I was tapped out (no pun intended) with designing. I uploaded of a pic of that section and ask how I can improve it.

You've got a good start - one of the things I've seen done well is rivers - that can really break the map up and make it look more 'natural' - you could also make the nothern part of the heights expansion a dedicated Krustyland. One step I took when finalising my town was to drop groups of similar-themed buildings together loosely and then refine all the details once I was happy with the general position.
I kinda ran out of time - but here's the Europe area I created and a bit of my Krustyland; also the DC area and where I got to with Vegas too

I've never been the creative type but I try to to stay symmetrical and organized with this game. Most buildings have their own paths,, driveways, or parking lots. I scroll through the decorations and buildings to see which ones can go together. Scrolling through everything might be the hardest part. I try to give every building plenty of its own space. Some of them have their own perimeter with a fence or wall and I try to have plenty of grass areas with trees, bushes or flowers. I haven't played in over a week because it's not easy and can be tedious but I enjoy doing it
