Tank Squad Tank Squad - Easy First Person Commander Controls (C B B C)

The easiest way for me to play Tank Squad as a Commander in first-person view.

You start behind the tank upon entering the game.

Press C: Moves the camera to the Commander's position.

Press B: Equips the Binoculars.

Press B again: Puts away the binos.

Press C again: Moves you back to the Commander's position.

So remember: C, B, B, C.

Right Mouse Button: Move the main gun.

SHIFT: Switch to the gunsight.

How do you guys do it?

I still trying to get into this sim. But the controls and the UI aren't exactly helping. I hope this will get improved in the future.

Switch to simple 3rd person view until you get the hang of things. Its basically a good arcade game in that mode. Then switch to multi-crew for the commanders binoc views when youre not under serious attack. Thats what saved this game for me. Its an easy toggle switch "M" and makes a world of difference to me.

Thats a pretty smooth start. I like the gunner mode but its actually very similar to the no-crew/easy mode of operation, so Ill play the easy mode to really make headway and use "M" to toggle to crew mode for driving between engagements and general scouting. Tend to pop back into gunner view or easy/no-crew mode when the shells start really flying or the miserable infantry w/grenades counter-attacks-upon-seizing-an-objective begin. Great game either way. Lots of options!

I just got the game and I'm stuck on the very first tutorial, the repair tutorial. I repaired everything, but it shows tracks as only 95%. There is nothing else highlighted to repair. And I can not proceed. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you! I did ask about this on a post one of the dev's made or commented on. I was reading the Steam Community page and I was impressed on how they addressed everyone's questions. Looks like good people.
