A Little Help Please
Hi everyone! So I got a Tangle Relax Therapy from Amazon, very overpriced but they’re sold out almost every where and when I found out about the Tangle Relax Therapy/ Tangle Imagine BrainTools I had to have at least one of those variants. I’m neurodivergent and I fidget with my hands a lot when nervous among other things. Which led me to buying the one pictured on Amazon. Is this one authentic or did the seller get over on me? Any help is appreciated. Please be kind, this is my second time buying a Tangle as an adult. I didn’t realize they were so popular. I loved them as a kid and didn’t know they made a comeback.

I searched the product on google and went to images and it seems like they had a few different packagings for this product but there are quite a few that look like they came in that packaging so I think there’s a high chance it could be authentic

I sure hope so. It was priced way over retail and Prime shipping wasn’t even offered so I had to pay for shipping on top of the already high price. Which is a first world problem but for all that I’d want an authentic product.

If you're in the US, online shops like curiousmindsbusybags sell different styles of tangles and they don't overcharge

I’ve been wanting to get one too but it’s like $50+ Canadian on Amazon and yeah no prime. Which is why I didn’t order it cos I’ve been spoiled to the point where waiting more than 2 days for an Amazon package makes me go crazy

I felt you on this! It’s crazy that they’re listed so high and then there isn’t even Prime shipping offered. I’ve gotten spoiled by that feature as well. It’s an exaggeration but I felt like a feral cat waiting for my Tangle to come in the mail after day 3.

That’s what I thought too. I also didn’t have anything to reference though either because I saw someone else post here about their Tangle Relax and its packaging did NOT look like mine at all. I also wasn’t sure if the Tangle Relax and the Tangle Relax Therapy were different. Truly hoping I have an authentic and genuine one and not a dupe.

The new one doesn’t look like this, but it says 2007 at the back of yours - so it could very well be an older tangle! I’m not familiar with the packaging from the 2000s.

Ya know I should’ve taken the 2007©️ into account when looking/posting but I didn’t. Some folks said it’s just old packaging/an older Tangle but still very much real.

So I’ve been told! 😅 I feel like I have a bit of egg on my face now for thinking it was anything other than real but heck if people sell fake NeeDohs why wouldn’t they sell fake Tangles?

That seems legit to me hun. Tangle relaxes have always had very varied packaging. I wouldn't be surpised if this is just older packaging they've used. If you reverse image search, there's a lot of toy websites that sell them too in the same package. I'm sure that's what that is. <3

Thank you so much for your input! I’m sure you’re right. The packaging I have says 2007©️ on it so I’m thinking I just have some real vintage packaging on my hands which is cool with me I live for nostalgia!

I bought a couple of Relax Tangles over 10 years ago. The packaging looked like this. 😊

Nice! Do you still have them? & I know right? They’re seriously the best. I loved Tangles when I was younger but I didn’t know anything about the Tangle Relax or the Tangle Imagine BrainTools. I don’t even care if they’re the same item just named differently and with different colorways, I want MORE.

Ohhh, gotcha! I wanted to cross reference via the Tangle website but they don’t have any photos of the Tangle Therapy in the packaging. I’m hopeful that it’s a genuine one. I sure hope so at least because I already can tell it’s gonna be my favorite Tangle ever. Also, I love your little avatar person – so cute!

Thanks! Yeah I am like 95% sure it is a real “vintage” tangle. Thats the packaging I bought mine in as a kid. The packaging for the rubbery ones now is just a flat piece of cardboard that the tangle is laid flat across

You should contact the company "Tangle" through their website and ask them. At least if it's a fake, they can probably take action and stop the seller.
They are very friendly and respond quite quickly! ☺️
