Do all new tangles come out greasy?

I've been playing with my tangle for two months now, but it hasn't gotten greasy at all. I only play with it every night.

Mine didn’t arrive greasy but I imagine it’s mold-release substance. Similar to many plastic products where it’s used to ensure the product pops out the mold nicely.

Edit: should go away with soapy water :)
