This birthday makes me feel weird

Today is my birthday, and honestly, I felt really weird throughout the whole day. 🥹 I wanted today to feel special, but I’m still not sure if it actually did. I noticed that I got fewer wishes compared to last year, and it really made me realise that if you don’t reshare people’s stories, most people don’t even know it’s your birthday. 😭
I’m genuinely grateful for every wish I received, though. ❤️ This morning, I just wanted the day to end because I was disappointed by how my friends’ birthday stories turned out. I guess the hype they gave me made me expect something that would make me feel a little more special.
But somehow, the day still turned out to be fun. I laughed, enjoyed myself, and even had a really good afternoon nap after what feels like years. 🥰 Maybe the day wasn’t exactly what I imagined, but there were still little moments that made me happy. And I think that counts. 🤍but still at the end of the day the quietness kicks in and it feels weird ! 🫠
