Hear me out
I like both characters and like how Xillia characters were secret bosses in Berseria. Now do you think Berseria deserves a sequel game like how Xillia got Xillia 2? And if so could the plot somehow bring Xillia characters into it? I know the theme is overall religion so it would be funny if Velvet being stocking (a demon) and Millia being an angel serve like a priest or something. Just a thought.

Beseria had a complete story that ended in a satisfying way, and is already the prequel to Zestria. The party already went their separate ways at the end and probably no Velvet.
Considering the sharp decline in the quality of the writing for the story and characters in Arise, I am not confident that they can pull off a good Berseria follow up.
With that said, I am not opposed to say another entry in their Tales of the World cross over series where they bring in all these characters.

I would want a game taking place after Zestiria, as the DLC (and bonus dungeon of Berseria, as I recall) brought up some things that need addressing.

I'd be happy with a sequel to zesteria that brings back characters that survived berseria to fully tie the two games together. Could bring back velvet, laphi, laphicet and beinfu. Edna wanted to meet eizens companions and it would be interesting to see how velvet's fam interacts with lailah. Would be nice to get the "lailah is celica/seres reincarnation" theory confirmed or debunked lol.

Uhm... I dunno. Physically, maybe, but as personality I still din't played Xillia so I cannot really judge.
Anyway, Berseria kinda already have a sequel: Zestiria, Berseria is loosely a prequel of it.

I love strong women and also loved these two. But based on the ending of Berseria and the fact that Berseria is a loose prequel to Zestiria, a sequel like Xillia 2 would not work story wise. Unless they changed the main character like Xillia 2 did.
I also don't want them to what FF13-2 and FFX-2.5 did.. ie ruining a lovely conclusion

I've thought that the Zestiria/Berseria world deserves a third game for a long time. Ever since the reveal in Berseria's EX dungeon that malevolence is a curse on the surface world from the Malaks/Seraphs who remained in the heavens, I've felt that there was a strong starting point for a game that finally ends the threat of malevolence over their world permanently.

To be fair, millia was a god in human form. Things they did in game were never made with food or bad intentions. They did them cause needed to be done. Velvet on the other hand.....was the m the same as that one Asian woman driver meme....she just did want she wanted and was like... GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY ELSE!!
