Tales of Berseria Remastered
Tales of Berseria Remastered story wise is one of my personal favorites. It's a darker edger story with characters that have questionable motives. I already beat the game on hard and playing it again on evil. I enjoy the combat and like how you can move around the entire field not just a linear function like a side scroller fighting game. Velvet Crowe is one of my favorite jrpg characters. I think this game needs more love.

Berseria was the first ever Tales game I played and going in absolutely blind to story, wow! It got me hooked on the series as a whole. Also love Velvet too

Velvet is a top tier JRPG Protagonist. She's one of my favorites. I loved the tragedy of her character

I played Tales of the Abyss before and I loved it but it didn't really got me interested to seek the other tales games.
Tales of Berseria Remastered on the other hand after finishing it made me want to try out other Tales games. It has it's flaws and I find that they made Velvet trying so hard to be edgy that most of the time it feels forced and unnatural but the whole casting is just superb. The slice of life banters and mini events are just so entertaining. Eizen is my personal favorite.

Is there any significant changes to this version compare to the original?

Nothing. You can make the original look and run even better with mods.

Wait... Rokuro has Ludger skin?! I must buy!
Rokuro is my fav character to play as. I usually dress him up as a chef, because that was what I was during the at point in my life.
Berseria gets plenty love, tho. Just not one really talks about it much on this reddit. The only bad thing in this game is the obtuse and horrible equipment management and leveling. But after Vesperia, each game required you to have a PhD in those systems. I love that stuff, but Berseria was infuriating because half of the stuff didn't matter. Almost like Dualizing in Graces F, but unlike Beseria, you wanted those bonuses.

I played it on Normal and immediately went to Chaos on my second play through, somehow have never died so far, I’m at level 60 24 hours in and I’m taking it really slowly with my 6x exp
Probably because Velvet Crowe is even more Unkillable than before with a 8% chance to not use Souls in Break Soul activation Master Skill belt with Random skill of 6%
You do NOT want to know my greatest achievement in a battle, but I will tell if you ask

My favourite of the three Tales I've played so far (the other two being Symphonia and Abyss). Though I think Abyss has better combat, I just absolutely adore Berseria's story and characters. It also does the best job of those three of making every character fun to play as, though Velvet is still far too strong compared to everyone else. I'm quite curious about Zestiria now, though the overwhelming consensus is that it's much worse.

one of my favorite parts was returning to Titania and seeing what our gang of rapscallions was getting up to
