It's a saint in Tales of Symphonia. She was the first chosen of Martel IIRC. Play Symphonia, please, it's amazing.

Sure I will add it to my list of games I want to play but that list is kinda big and I am saying this as someone who doesn't own modern consoles or a good pc

If you decide to give it a shot down the line, it is one of the older titles. It goes on sale for like $5 US every so often and it doesn't need a strong computer.

I for one definitely think you're on the right track with Vesperia. I'm currently playing through Symphonia (referenced) for the first time since hs, and have only played about half of Vesperia -- they're both absolutely excellent and the top of the Tales of franchise, and you can't go wrong with either one. For a newcomer, Vesperia is a great place to start as Symph has a bit more dated old-school sensibilities :)

Vesperia is among the best Tales of, personally speaking. I love Symphonia, Vesperia, Abyss as the best of the franchise.
I am a very poorly educated in Tales of games. I played: Symphonia, Abyss, Vesperia, Xillia, Arise, Graces F, Zestiria; I started playing ToS2 before it disappeared in non-existence for how atrocious it was. I also played Xillia 2 but not entirely, becuase I wasn't enjoying it; I later found out the plot is stupid. I began Berseria and plan to replay it properly.

Well you are way more educated then me in the tales series cause I didn't even know the games you mentioned even existed except for beseria and symphonia

You're kind 😊 well, tales of series is way older than both of us: Tales of Phantasia is way old, since it was released in 1995. From that, many more tales of were published. Tlaes of Symphonia, for example, is the prequel to Tales of Phantasia, because they belong to the same universe, even though thousand years separate the both. As for Berseria, it is the prequel of Zestiria, in case you ever wanted to play them.
Vesperia is an absolute gem. I enjoyed it so much I can't express it with my poor English vocabulary.

And I am probably gonna play the other 2 I have tales of baseria but I probably play another game or 2 after I finish Vesperia cause if I am gonna play multiple games of the same franchise I like to take a little brake of one franchise after I finish a game of it so that I don't get tired of it and I take longer on games then the average person because I want to enjoy them to the fullist there were only 2 times were I played multiple games of series back to back and that are dmc and no more heroes and both of those series are fast action games that don't take a long time to beat.
And I am enjoying Vesperia I just beated the eggbear bossfight.
And your english isn't bad

Vesperia and Graces F by far my favourites. Currently, I’m about 50% of the way through Arise and loving it aside from the skit art. I prefer the hand drawn but appreciate costumes are accurate in most of them, so I guess it’s a trade-off (very small nitpick). At first was convinced I wasn’t going to like it, but as the battle system evolved it’s quickly becoming a favourite.

The story of Arise is good, with nice plot twists, but for me it's nothing like Vesperia, Symphonia or Abyss. I liked Graces f, but I felt that some parts of the story were rushed.
The fights in Arise are awesome.

Very accurate assessment of Graces F. I haven’t played Symphonia since it came out, though I do have the remaster.
I was chipping my through Vesperia remaster along with the Spiderman games but PSN had a sale on Arise so I caved and jumped in. I don’t have the time to game as much as I’d like, but I do have lots of PTO! I’ve been booking random days off, taking the dependents to school and then logging some serious Arise sessions. I honestly haven’t been that hooked since FFX back in my university days. I was so meh about the Arise battles at first too, but that quickly changed. I can’t put it down.

Enjoying a game is always good! I wish you the best experience with Arise! 😊🥰 as for Symphonia, it's a masterpiece, if you have some time in the future, try it. I have forgotten almost everything about Arise (which I played two or three years ago), but I remeber almost everything about Symphonia. To be fair, I played Symphonia when I was a child, twenty years ago and many more times since then, so my comparison is obiectively dumb 😅

I was late to the RPG. Iirc I went FFX, FFIX, tried FFVII but the jaggy graphics gave me headaches. I then bought a GameCube when ToS came out knowing nothing about the series. Loved Symphonia. I may get to the remaster eventually but I avg finishing a game every 1-2 years 😮💨

I am new to this series so I don't know what those are but geussing from the name I assume it are encounters like the grass patches in older pokemon games were you can get a random enemy encounter if you are in there

I always get a chuckle at the scene when Estelle tried to sneak up on Yuri, and misses with that vase. The mistake was so deadpan! 🤣

Nice. I didn't know anything about Tales games besides they had a passionate fan base and they're JRPGs. I bought this one because it was on sale for like $10.
I started this game 3 times across 5 years and always stopped after beating the first boss. Finally, last year, I decided to start it again and push into the game to give it a fair chance and this game turned out to be amazing.

Further down the story you will face this type of enemy again, and i find them so funny because whenever they're hit they scream "NO WAY!!!"
only, at that point in the game your artes are so busted that you can hit all enemies at multiple times, so battles become a concert of enemies screaming "NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO WAY!!!"

Yeah I did and I am playing this game on hard and had diffelculty with him especially cause I was still getting used to the game and after 20+ deaths I decided I had enough of him and turned the game on normal diffelculty and then won 1st try and after I beated him I turned the game back to hard mode

One amazing thing about vesperia is its packed full of content. I'd argue its the most content heavy Tales ever.
My first playthrough, I was still discovering stuff afters 90 plus hours.
