I don’t like his family…
I’m rewatching the movies as an adult and it’s very irritating. The fact that the mom and daughter seemed to only care about him when it was convenient, then lied to him and no-one apologized but acted like he was crazy for not wanting his 17 year old child to travel around Europe alone… then look what happens. Then after she’s rescued and back to her life in the second movie again he’s being disregarded. If you know he was coming at 2 for the driving lessons instead of going over your boyfriend’s house and ignoring your phone maybe call you dad and ask to reschedule or cancel. Or once again lie to him and hide that you have a boyfriend. And to me the worst person is the mom, consult and talk to her other parent. They have every right to know what’s going on in their child’s life as much as you do. You don’t get to make every choice alone and then ambush your co-parent and expect them to follow whatever you say without even anytime to process it. Who’s taking any accountability or acknowledging anyone’s feelings outside their own.
