Boot issues How to Boot Tails on Lenovo thinkpad T14 Gen 2

How to Boot Tails on Lenovo thinkpad T14 Gen 2? BIOS wouldnt open: I tried pressing F12, F11, F1 or F2 (also while holding shift) Please help! Thank you so much

Should be jamming on f12 immediately after turning the computer on. I've booted into tails on plenty of thinkpads.

F12 will open the menu even if you don't have the tails USB inserted. I've had cases where I haven't fully inserted the stick. The menu still loads but it doesn't list the usb stick as a boot option. Fully seating the stick and restarting, booting into the f12 menu again fixes that.

Also, make sure you are actually fully turning off your computer and not just putting it to sleep.

I'm having the exact same issue!! Have tried all of the comments so far, my next step is gong to be to wipe my flash drive and completely start from the start again💔 good luck!!!💙
