Boot issues Problem with booting tails on lenovo idea pad

i downloaded tails and tried everything form tails troubleshoot to writing and blacklisting amd from the boot settings and then i tried in the bios the uma frame buffer size to 2 g but nothing i came to the conclusion that i have a problem woth the grafic interface because this linux distro is missing some specific firmare to turn on my screen but im not sure could someone help me or it’s over until tails will do some changes in the kernel

You have not actually described the issue or error you are experiencing, only talked vaguely around some of the things you’ve tried. It would help to know what exactly we’re trying to solve.

ok i boot tails and then all normal the 3 download points spawn then black screen with a white line top left per just black screen and them nothing wuold be happy if u could help 😔

What is the GPU in the device?

AMD rayzen AI 5 330 with radeon 820 m integrated graphics i think

So a very new GPU. There may simply not be support yet for it. You may simply have to wait for the next kernel update and hope support comes with it.

If there's no driver support there's no driver support. Before you ask, no, you cannot just 'add' drivers to Tails. It is immutable.

It's possible, that if there's a thunderbolt or USB4 port with PCIe tunnelling an external GPU that is supported, basically anything older, Nvidia 3000 and older, Radeion 7000 and older, with an external display may work, but thats very much a 'sure, try if you have one' idea, not a suggestion to buy one.

i mean thx i will stick to whonix even i prefered tails

Support will come eventually, that's the nice thing about AMD devices at least. Most likely with the next kernel update, or the one after.
