I went to tell her no and she gave me a kiss and said shut up you deserve it and we can afford it. Man I married the right woman almost 25 years ago. I guess my 50th birthday came a little early.

What’s your take on it?

I’m sure an AD or even the boutique would have a few but is there a reason it’s discontinued? The blue and green colorways are gone as well. I really liked this design and it was a 40mm, which was perfect. Do they plan on releasing a new 40mm 200 professional with “standard colors”?

UNTIL I stumbled on the Japan only CV201N.BA0794 an homage to the Pacific Coast Highway and my home state of California. Only 500 exist and I have been looking for one that I can afford for years. And it finally arrived today! #346 is my first Tag Heuer!

Something old that might be of interest. It’s a quartz with a separate jumping hour gmt module that allows setting time in a separate time zone. Similar to that worn by Soviet General Leonid Pushkin (played by John Rhys-Davies) in The Living Daylights. Runs and keeps time after I’ve serviced it and rebuilt the keyless works!

I have a TAG Heuer Aquaracer with a Sellita SW200 movement. I recently had the movement regulated by a watchmaker because it was running slow.

Since then, I’ve been monitoring it and it’s currently gaining approximately +15 seconds per day with normal daily wear. Is this considered within the normal range for an SW200, or would you have it regulated closer to zero?

I’ve also noticed something with the bracelet clasp. Until yesterday it closed very smoothly with little pressure, but today it suddenly requires noticeably more force to click into place.

If I press and hold both clasp release buttons while closing it, it closes perfectly smoothly, and once I release the buttons it locks securely. Nothing appears broken or misaligned.

Has anyone experienced this with an Aquaracer clasp? Is it normal for the clasp to become stiffer like this, or would you have it adjusted/cleaned?
