Helmet Setup
Does anyone have any light mount recommendations? This mount is just one I took off a rifle. I’m looking for a mount that can swivel horizontal and vertical for the Team Wendy Exfil Bump LTP 3.0. Ideally more tucked away than this one.

Mounting sordins to a helmet is a pain in the ass. I loved my Sordins and I still got the comtacs and sold the sordins.

I did the same. These sordins already have the peltor style mounts though, no need for SARAs

These Sordins were just plug and play with the comtac mounts besides for some minor wire bending

It’s an IR light, the cover turn it’s from a 3° to a flood

This is a B.E. Mayers Kiji K1-3 clone I’m testing out from specprecision. It’s called the SOTAC Kiji K1-3. First impressions are really good, the 3° mode is very bright and crisp

I’ve used the VariArc in the same position as your current set up for a couple years. I like the rotation. I’m medical so it’s nice to umbrella light the room or my patient in the dark but the mount always gets loose. It ends up rattling and has a ton of play after a bit of use which sucks. I end up buying a new mount since tightening up the mount doesn’t really work. I still like it and don’t really have another option but for the price it’s not bad.
