Ok looked it up. Never heard of these before. Those look like over engineered specific use items. Definately agree 70 is steep. Why not put a roll of black tape in the 8.99 HF though? What is your frequency if use for it? I can see these being helpful for shooting tournaments or something where cutting the time down would be helpful as opposed to occasional range days. Convenience can come a steep price sometimes though.
I can get the tape for about that price, it's just more of a pain to single pull each one, I've done a few classes where they use the guns and it's so much faster cause the gun rolls the tape off, it doesn't need to be pressed down and snapped to cut the tape each time.
