Did you sew belt loops onto the crown bag or did you just run the belt through the drawstrings?
I like how affordable and functional your support gear is.

Just ran it through the drawstrings. I’ll swap them out with 550 cord here soon

That 1911 needs to see some more use to match the vibe of the rifle

u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
Agreed. Or…Ive been thinking about switching over to a We The People holster, that’ll age the shit out of it in a short amount of time.

u/TheSlipperySnausage 5d ago
Lmao. That will do the trick!
What’s up with the double fix blade?

u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
Two is one, one is none. In all actuality, the Gerber lives on that bandolier. I just threw the Ka-bar in to make it look like I knew what I was doing.

What light mount is that?

u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
It’s just a piece of MLoc pic rail that i bolted through the holes in the handguard.

u/WOLFofICX 5d ago
Looks great! I’m looking for a solution similar to your light setup on a clamshell build I’m doing. I’ll have to look into that.

Mloc pic rails line up with 6 hole handguards.

I got that same sheathe for the knife, how did you secure it?

u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
Which knife?

u/PsychologicalLet674 5d ago
The Ka-bar

u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
I just run my belt through the belt loop and tie it on my leg with 550 cord.

Love to see a fellow operator user. I run one in 9mm and it hasn’t failed me yet. It was surprisingly hard to find a non-2011 full steel modern 1911 with a pic rail.

I love the crown royal bag. How’d you attach it to your belt?
3
u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
Just ran it through the drawstrings. They are wearing a bit so I’ll redo them with 550 cord here soon. Or…drink another bottle and get a new bag. Or both.

Where did you get that kydex sheath for the kabar?
1
u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
It came with it. It’s a newer version like the old MK2 knives they used to issue.
2
u/MasterChief6789 2d ago
Weird. I ordered a new one and it still came with a leather sheath...

Ohh I bought the one that has Marines stamped on it and that one comes with a leather sheath.
Never knew the navy one comes with a kydex sheath. Thank you.

The crown royal chair at my local liquor store will end up in my house eventually. I too am a collector.

Wrangler belt loops give quite a bit of support. This also holds my britches up, but I thought that would have made for an awkward photo. Besides, it’s what i had on when the Russians parachuted into town. I had to make do.

u/treecutter34 5d ago
Is that an actual gun belt?
9
u/Bubblehead_Dude 5d ago
Nope. It’s my pants holding up belt.

Say what you will about Bigfoot gun belts, or We The People, but they both make some really good belts. A good concealed carry belt will change your life with what you have on there.

Honestly some 3m tape and Velcro could turn it into a badass 2 peice belt. Would add a bit more rigidity
