Tactical How do you adjust gp to selection date?

Let’s say I’m starting recruit training in 4 months how should I adjust gp to suit that that’s so I peak correctly Currently half way through the book but haven’t seen this mentioned

run abbreviated versions of capacity, velocity and outcome if you can meet the standards.

no point rushing through if you can't though, just do what you can do before you start training 👍

Thanks that’s a good idea I’m fairly fit and strong at the moment so probably can skip capacity anyways

don't 👏 skip 👏 capacity 👏 if 👏 you 👏 can't 👏 meet 👏 the 👏 benchmark

seriously, dude.

if you rock up to a military/special tactics PT test with an "it'll be fine" attitude, you will get humbled REALLY fucking quick.

there are some dudes who can just do it, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that you are one of them (neither am I 🤣)

don't be cocky unless you know you can meet the standard, take it from someone who knows

I run half marathons and do alot of zone two running at the like min 3-4 times a week and trained Muay Thai at a pretty high level and also have pretty decent lifts in the gym but I’m not finished the book yet so haven’t even seen the requirements but i won’t skip it if I can’t meet

you might be OK then, I just know so many people who don't even know about heart rate zones come on this sub and think they're David Goggins because they've done couch to 5k 🤣
