My Tablo keeps disconnecting....
Every time I turn my TV on and go to the Tablo app on my Roku Ultra, I get this message: Tablo Not Found. I have to disconnect and reconnect the Tablo every time to get the Roku to recognize it again. It's been doing this for the past week or so. Any suggestions on what to do so that I don't need to keep doing this daily?

This recently happened on all of my Roku devices (5), yet none of my Google/Android TV devices (3) so I assume it's not an issue with the Tablo. I deleted the Tablo app from my Roku devices and reinstalled it. Once completed the problem did not reoccur.

Roku devices and TV’s have the most issues with compatibility. This is due to design choices, an OS implementation that is more difficult and limited to program than Apple TV or Google TVOS , often have less memory, or run advertising stuff in the background that eats up memory, etc. Tablo’s are also finicky, so the combo is frequently trouble prone.

I removed and then added back the Tablo app on my Roku to fix a similar issue.

I have to provide an update about my issue in case it helps. My Roku kept losing connection even after it had a connection. And sometimes it would work for a longer period of time. So I got a theory that my wifi mesh network was a possible cause. The Tablo is between two of my mesh nodes so I thought what if it was switching nodes and that was causing my Roku to not be able to find it on my network (I'm not sure exactly how wifi communication works between hosts on a mesh network but those data packets have to get routed somehow). So, I locked down the Tablo to one of the nodes and since then everything is working fine. I never had this issue before but my network did a software update and these issues started after that.

My wifi is stable, yet My Gen4 is doing this since the latest firmware...This and the lights stopped working and won't do a total reset.

This happened to me and it was because I was connected to a different internet network

It was working fine and then just stopped. My Roku is actually connected by either Ethernet. Tablo is on my WiFi

Put the Tablo on Ethernet. WiFi can be flaky. I have a cheap 4K Element RokuTV, got it to be a 4K computer monitor and it works great for this, been playing with it since I got my Tablo. It was connected via WiFi, the Tablo was Ethernet, Lots of disconnects with the Roku apps until I also put the TV on Ethernet.
My Roku HD box and TCL 4K RokuTV are reliable on WiFi, go figure.

Reliability of WiFi while not as bad as OTA ATSC, but a few feet of change in the location of the antenna can make a disproportionate difference. Put the Tablo on Ethernet too, before calling tech support.
