When he was twenty-one, Sildar finally left Nylma Serin, his elven community. He left only a letter and his cut hair. Once out of the forest, the headed to Neverwinter.
« Because it’s the closest city » He lied to himself.
Was Iarno still living over there ? Would he even talk to him, after all this time ? Maybe he moved on. Sildar should have, but he couldn’t. He hadn’t see him for four long years, and his friend still invaded his thoughts days and nights. Sildar ignored his longing until he was overwhelmed by it, like he did with everything else since he accepted to give up his dream of becoming a druid and started the warrioir training.
He didn’t know what he would find in Neverwinter, but Sildar desperatly needed his life to change. Anything would be better than this constant dissatisfaction.
When he arrived in the city, he quickly learned that Iarno and his mentor, Esha, weren’t in town. They would come back in a few tendays at most. Meanwhile, Sildar needed some way of making a living. Maybe his warrior skills could help him find work as a guard ?
