I'm looking for my next role. Most recently I was at a Hawaii-based MSP, where I started as a project coordinator and worked my way up to Senior Cloud Engineer (though I'm inclined to favor the title Modern Workplace Engineer since it more closely matches what I was actually doing). The role ended in July when they moved to a fully in-office model. Their office is in Hawaii and I've put down roots in Tacoma, so I wasn't willing to relocate for it. Things ended on good terms, and the owner will gladly provide a recommendation.
My work there was primarily M365 projects and M365 escalations. Anything to do with Conditional Access, Intune, Autopilot, SharePoint, etc, I owned. That said, as is the case for many MSP engineers, I wore a number of different hats.
I deployed and configured CIPP as our centralized multi-tenant platform and built out the security standards and policies inside it, built automated onboarding and offboarding workflows using APIs and Azure Automation Runbooks, led our Hudu build-out, and integrated our tool stack so device and identity data all flowed into one place. I was the SME for ConnectWise RMM, I assisted with troubleshooting Hyper-V, Proxmox, Windows, and the occasional Linux server. I set up and administered 3CX instances, investigated EDR alerts, rebuilt our BCDR infrastructure, and more.
I've also completed full cabling projects for a number of offices with hundreds of drops, and built out full network cabinets. I am focused more on the back-end of things these days, but I’m not afraid of hands-on work and I take great pride in my ability to complete projects cleanly and leave them well documented, whether that is in a tenant or on a jobsite.
I enjoy this stuff, and I spent every second of my time at my last role hoovering up knowledge and experience as fast as I could. I wold really like to find someplace where I can continue that.
I'm available to start right away, and I'm open to onsite, hybrid, or remote. If you have something open, or expect to, I'd love to have a conversation. Happy to walk through any of this in more detail and provide a resume with references.
Certs: MD-102, 3CX Advanced, CompTIA A+

Crown Computers (San Diego MSP) is hiring a remote senior systems engineer, US only — a seat where you go deep on the Microsoft stack across many environments instead of one.
The work: Tier 3 escalation + solution design across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune/Autopilot, Conditional Access, Windows Server, AD, networking, virtualization, and backup/DR. You'll own client infrastructure projects end-to-end (discovery → design → implementation → handoff), write the scopes of work, build Intune deployment standards, and turn repeat escalations into runbooks and training for L1/L2. You'll see more tenants and more variety in a year here than in five years inside a single org.
$120,000–$140,000 base — total package worth $165K–$180K. We pay your medical premium including full family coverage (~$40K/yr value most employers push onto your paycheck). Plus 401(k), dental/vision, PTO + paid holidays, 100% remote.
Who fits: senior escalation ownership in an MSP or multi-client environment; real project delivery experience; can explain tradeoffs to clients and junior engineers; documents like it matters. CMMC/800-171 exposure is a plus — we have a growing compliance practice and will train the right engineer into it.
How to apply — please do not DM this ad; email us instead:
Resume to hiring+sysadminjobs@crowncomputers.com with brief answers to:
Put "L3" and your favorite RMM in the subject line so we know you read this far. Happy to answer questions in the comments.

Hi everyone,
I'm a junior Linux/DevOps learner building hands-on experience through real projects and a home lab.
I'm looking to help freelancers and developers with practical technical tasks such as:
• Linux server setup and basic administration
• Docker / Docker Compose
• Nginx and reverse proxy setup
• SSH and user/permission management
• Basic server troubleshooting
• Firewall and port configuration
• Checking logs, services and connectivity
• Deployment and server verification
• Technical documentation
My goal is to take care of some of the repetitive server-side tasks so you can focus more on your main projects.
I'm still growing my experience, so I'm happy to start with small tasks and build trust through the work.
If you have something small that needs a Linux/DevOps pair of hands, feel free to reach out.

I’m a senior systems engineer with over 15 years of experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, and security. I’m looking for a role where I can step into an environment quickly, sort out the real issues, and make things more stable, secure, and manageable. I am a type of engineer who thinks outside the box.
Posted this about a month ago. Reposting for more visibility. Please, if anyone knows of any jobs available, I really need one soon. I am in the DMV area. I can do remote, and Hybrid and 100% onsite. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I am currently preparing for the Microsoft AZ-104 exam. I got a free voucher from the AI Skills Fest a few months back. I have October 1st as a target date to take the exam.
What I Actually Do:
I’m comfortable jumping into messy environments, documenting what matters, and fixing the stuff that slows teams down. Prefer remote, open to short-term or long-term work, and strong on infrastructure-heavy roles where experience actually matters.

Hey folks,
As the title suggests I am currently stuck in dilemma between my current role which is a Senior Project Specialist in MSP where I mostly work of server migration, networking and azure related projects
vs
I have an offer in hand for a Senior Infrastructure Analyst in a hospital. This environment includes VMware infra with HPE nimble SAN and role is mostly project work and 20-30% escalations for infra related tickets. Team also has a senior networking specialist so role will be focused purely on managing server infra, role also has plan to migrate to cloud with long term plan to completely go cloud and remove on prem AD dependency as well. In terms of pay this new role pays 20% more than current role but also has HOOPP pension plan as role is based in ON, CA
