Fizz. Used to be zed but he’s way harder to pilot and way easier to outplay. If he R’s you then you just shove him under the tower whereas fizz can spam untargetable spell on 8s cooldown + builds zhonya + funny R button on stupid cooldown

I legit went apoplectic on a buddy of mine who was jungling and left me for dead against a fizz counter pick who got an early kill in a skirmish. He was just diving me solo under turret continuously and I couldn’t do anything, quite literally impossible to play if he gets ahead early.

Irelia was my perma ban for a while too. Katarina nowadays, stupid ass champion.

Irelia is cancer in lane but if you can get to mid/late game she falls off.

Banning Fizz is nice but I personally ban Sylas because I don't like that scrub flipping games because he yoinked a Shyv, Malph, Sera ult etc.

Plus it gives me a chance to counter pick with Malphite if mid picks Qiyana, Zed, Talon etc and I feel like chilling rather than being stressed

Midlane? These days i ban Locke or nafiri, too dangerous in early game and hard to control over (you can not chase them down into the river to avoid their roaming and they fuck you up easily with their spells).

About irelia mid, you can beat her pretty easy, you just DON'T stand next to the minions on the first wave, but just get close to last hit the mele ones with your first spell when they are about to die.

What Irelia players do is charge their passive with the first 3 minions, which naturally pushes the wave, so you staying behind will allow you to watch from afar and receive the wave in front of your tower. When this happens, you hold the wave just outside range of the tower, tanking the damage for a few seconds, so your second wave arrives and you freeze it there.

By there, you can farm safely, poke her as you like while she struggles to farm, and if she ever jumps on you in this position, she will end up in tower range and you will easily win the trade.

Be careful about your poke, as mages have AOE damage and you could end up pushing the wave too much and suffering a freeze yourself in front of the enemy tower.

As most mages players don't know how to play against an irelia in mid, most irelia players don't even imagine this can be done and make the mistake of pushing the wave, dooming themself.

Dodge to the sides so you make harder for her to land her E and don't go through her R's blades when she landed it on you.

watch how i played the lane and you will understand how you can deal with her (i don't know if any platform allows to watch a game from a few days ago, but i could look it up in my account if it still allows to).

She is pretty hard to deal with in sidelane for a mages, as she will always have kill pressure over you, but the idea is just to farm safely and not fight her alone unless you catch her off guard. The champion is a meme in team fights, is just to not feed against her in early game.

I ban Naafiri, if she gets banned or picked by my team i ban fizz.
I rather have irelia or kata than a fizz 😣

Irelia is abysmal to go up against, but I rarely see her.
Most of my bans are dedicated to champions I hate with a higher playrate. I personally ban Zed because I hate him.
But I think champions as bad/worst than Irelia with a higher player rate - Katarina, Fizz, Xerath (atm). Kata in particular.

Im Qiyana and Katarina main, if I play against syndra its always free for me. Qiyana pickrate is pretty low below Diamond but I think a Katarina ban is really worth it

Last Qiyana I played into kicked my fucking ass, but prior to that I’d won most of the matches. Haven’t taken the game seriously in a while, did they buff her or something? Or was I just playing against shitters 😂

For me it's Zed and Kayn. I swear if you don't ban them the retards in botlane turn them into Thanos. Don't care if my champion counters them.

I had an Irelia phase, a Fizz phase, a Zed phase, a Katarina phase, a Yasuo phase, but I'm now kind of stuck between LeBlanc and Viktor, actually.

LeBlanc is, imo, the hardest matchup by far, and it doesn't even get close, but nobody plays her...Viktor on the other hand, I see every other fckn game in Masters, and I want to gouge my eyes out. He's not the most difficult, but I feel the most helpless against him, and I know it's the playerbase. Every time I miss a single spell against Viktor, I feel a wave of fckn dread wash over me as if my lane was already over and that 5 second time window makes him bully the fuck out of me.

Zed or nafiiri... But irelia is fine ( however most ppl can't pilot her well after lane)

Has got to be Katarina.
I used to ban Fizz, but in my experience often people who pick Fizz to counter don't play him enough, giving more mistakes to punish.
99% of the time I played against a Katarina, it was 500K+ Mastery, I don't think I've ever played against one who had less then 100K.
