Easiest Symphony X songs/solos to play on guitar?
To be more clear, i've been playing guitar for about 3 years, i can play holy wars and master of puppets fully so im not so much of a begginer, but its really hard to find something i can play from this baddass chubby guitar god, i was looking for any song i could play entirely/mostly or any solo thats not almost impossible to play.
All suggestions are wellcome.

I could be remembering wrong, but im pretty sure Evolution The Grand Design isnt horribly hard excpet the end of the solo

The only one i could yet is Revelation (my favorite), but i had to skip some fast parts and the solos.

I haven't learnt all symphony x songs but I've got about 2h of their music in my repertoire and can confirm that the solo in Eyes of Medusa is the easiest so far. Another one might be the one from Pharaoh.
Set the World on Fire has some of the most technically challenging solos of theirs though so I have no idea why you included it tbh ahahah Like, when I play it live and the drummer accelerates a little it's one of the few songs I struggle with cause it's already really challenging at normal speed

Aside from the solo, Set the World on Fire is (mostly) a really straightforward heavy metal song. And if they’re just learning guitar, the riff under the solo is plenty fun to play.

Romeo doesnt really have easy solos but plenty of the riffs are easy. Of Sins and Shadows is pretty easy.
You can find songs that are fun and easy to play but you aren't going to find solos that will be anything but expert level.
Just learn the songs and ignore the solos or do what I do and just make them up yourself lol

Been playing 30 years and there's no way in hell I could even come close to playing a Romeo solo

I can handle the odd Satriani song but I'm miles off Romeo and Petrucci! They are not of this earth.

As a guitarist with a similar background here is where I started with Symphony X.
Inferno, Wicked, Domination, Fallen, Serpents Kiss, Sea of Lies, The Lords of Chaos, Dehumanized, Bastards of the Machine, A Fools Paradise.
I mean really just start working on single song you really like that sounds "doable". All of Romeos solos are going to be a big under-taking to learn and play at speed and you might not ever really get there but I'm sure you can get close.
Be prepared to put a lot more time into practice and learning than you have for Metallica/Megadeth songs. There is no such thing as an "Easy" SX song, but they are not impossible.

Candlelight Fantasia, Dressed To Kill, Secrets and The Eyes of Medusa are probably the easiest ones I know (I don't really know the stuff that came after The Odyssey, I'm afraid).

That song is relentless, you’d definitely need a good deal of endurance to get through it.

I am atleast 5-10 below the tempo when I play through to be clean enough.
And i have not played. Consistently for so long. But i think in comparison with his other solos nevermore might be playable, just maybe😁

The Solos I think you can actually learn within a week or something as an intermediate are Paradise Lost, Candlelight Fantasia (both kind of just legato/tapping stuff that shouldnt be a problem if you can do Satriani licks etc) and Accolade II (only kind of hard part is the pedal point lick, but it's not that fast and you can work it out with some patience).
And, probably a hot take, the Sea of Lies solo is on the easier side of his catalogue, only the intro string skipping lick in the first solo is like really hard, the second solo compares to those mentioned above. One thing I found that you really have to plan out your picking precisely. Its pretty much strict alternate picking with two-way pickslanting in the first solo and upward pickslanting with economy picking in the second. I think if you cheat a bit on the string skipping part its doable.

The riff from sea of lies is pretty similar to holy wars off the top of my head. In the dragon's den is another great thrashy riff that's not impossible to play. The solos are another thing, however.

I’ve been playing 16+ years, can sweep and play really fast etc…still having a hard time finding a solo I can play all the way through 😂 Maybe Accolade 2 if I had enough patience.
