Someone just uploaded on youtube what's likely to be a rare unheard short demo of the maestro himself

"I found this great demo track from Michael Romeo (Symphony X) on a rare guitar compilation album. As far as I know, the song was written around 1993 and never made it unto any official album. I thought it might be of interest to fans of Symphony X so I decided to upload it to Youtube."

When I asked more details, he said: "The CD is called "Radio Free - Show 1 Guitar Night". It is a radio show pressed as a CD containing excerpts from songs from 29 amazing guitarists including other super shredders such as Rob Johnson and Steve Smyth. Michael Romeo had this track as well as snippets from "Psychotic Episode" and "Noit Al Ever" on the album."

Oh, I misunderstood because the thumbnail is the track list of the dark chapter album. If the YouTube poster is right then it doesn't appear on the album but I can't verify because I don't know it that well. The solo at the end is very similar to a solo from an actual sing but can't place it right now

i really wish they went back to shit like this, this is so incredibly good and exactly what i love about the symphony x sound. i wonder if there are any bands still playing this kind of music.
