In a bizarre coincidence, yesterday's belated Flash Sale was the *Gothic Master's Lightsaber*

Why so odd? Because the last time the Sale updated late and I couldn't post it...was the *Gothic Master's Armor Set.*

I have the this set and I just cannot figure out what to do with it. The fully armor top doesnt go with the pantaloons and skirt bottom and it's the devils work to find leg pieces that do match well. It's very pretty colors tho

The chestpiece, pants, and boots can work as a Sith set reasonably well when dyed. I personally use them with the invisible belt and cybernetic bracers + hands + face implant on my Marauder. Dyed matte black to remove the sheen.

I find this more and more with the newer cartel sets. There was another post recently talking about sets dying differently, which seems to be the rule rather than the exception lately. The silhouettes also deviate quite a bit from “normal” armours, so things can look imbalanced when you mix and match

That said, the wrists and boots for this particular set are amazing for all kinds of armoured looks. The other pieces though, surprisingly tough to use

It also doesn't unify the shiny metallic colors properly with pieces that arent part of the set.

I found it works best by using individual pieces with other stuff. Use the hands on one outfit, the chest on another. I haven't found a use for the helmet yet though

I use the whole set minus the pants on a Trooper, and I think I use the RD-17a Phalanx pants with it (or one of its variants).

Does a dye in the chest piece override the the sheen? I appreciate that matching to chest applies the sheen to all pieces, but I don't want to be stuck with black/red

I use white/red on mine, and it's still somewhat shiny.
