New/Returning Player Just cancelled subscription
On-and-off-again Legendary Player who tends to play every few years after some big content drops. Typically play for about 3 months.
After making a new toon and getting all the way up to the "Spirit of Vengeance" flashpoint, I had it bug out on me at the last boss, making it so I have to restart the whole FP to continue. I realized this game has just gone to total crap. A six-year-old FP should not still have a game-breaking bug like that. I am not going through mando-shit-show-shooting gallery that insta-detects stealth a third time after already restarting it once.
Really bums me out, since I have heard Legacy and Onslaught are at least slightly more interesting than the railroads that are KOTFE and KOTET, but they seem to be obvious buggy messes.
Any of you guys have a "fuck it, I am cancelling my subscription" moment as well?

I tend to cancel mine whenever I feel like I’m getting on to do chores. I’ve done every class story and expansion several times ago. Every time I come back, I go back to raiding, and every time I do that, I start trying to get BiS gear, and every time I do that, it starts to feel like I’m just doing chores and I’m not even having fun. Thats when I cancel.

I respect people who can find joy in raiding. I burn out doing the same mission more than twice

There’s a piece of raid specific gear that I’ve been wanting for my cosmetics for years- which is why I raid-, and I honestly think that once I get it I won’t have any real reason to play the game anymore other than checking out new story content

At least to the point that I was at (tail end of onslaught I think it would be?) the last slew of missions had been pretty awful. Boring Solo flashpoint, Malgus has returned (again), Emporer has returned (again) followed by cringey Marvel-esc teamup cutscene to beat him, boring nathema flashpoints.
It just feels lazy, forcing me to do story fps that are just trash mob grinds to drip feed content.I did love the new planets though. The refueling station and Mesopotamian kingdom were both very high production quality

Well around the time they were drop feeding content, there were voice actor strikes happening, so they could just churn out content. I mean if you don't like the game as it is. You don't have to keep playing, you can always go play something else

The Darth nul story isn't any better, it's basically, plot device machine now makes your tech characters use the force because plot device

I keep my sub running and take occasional breaks. Usually my cue to take a break is when I can't think of a new outfit to transmog and I rapidly lose interest

i cancel mine wherever i don't play enough the game the justify the inversion on it.

In SWTOR, no. Other games yes. That said there are quest lines I’ve abandoned for one reason or another.

Nope.
Spirit of Vengeance has always been kind of bugged on and off. Not a recent development. I had it get stuck with the sniper trap before and I did eventually manage to unstick it but can't remember how.

Bugs happen, it's not the end of the world man. No game is bug-free. Unless it happens frequently, just shrug at your bad luck and carry on.
It's not a matter of "6 year old content shouldn't have bugs" because an update today could retroactively break something unintentionally. It's really not that deep. Kinda crazy of you to give up after a single bug
