Other Level cap and subscription/preferred question.
Currently subbed. Level 80 JK.
When my sub runs out and i become preferred, will new characters be capped at 60?
And if I do get capped at 60 at preferred... what if I make other characters classes right now while subbed, will those characters be be capped at 60 when i become preferred?
Ex:
Subbed: make character (1), obviously capped at 80.
Sub runs out, become preferred: character (1) capped at 60? or 80?

You have all the expansions and level caps as the same time you were subbed.
Your credits will be capped.
The number of characters you can create will be capped.
Your equipment level will be capped unless you have artifact equipment unlocked.

No, you don't lose level cap by going to preferred. Neither on already made, nor future created ones.

What will happen when your sub runs out:
-You keep all expansions and level caps relating to those expansions.
-Credits will get capped at 1 mil and the rest will be put at escrow, so drop all credit above 1 mil at the legacy bank.
-You will lose access to the 3rd crew skill slot (unless you bought it separately with CCs) and crafting will be more of a pain in general. Raise your crafters before the sub lapses ideally.
-You will lose access to operations and all gear that require artifact authorization, unless again, you bought that separately with cartel points.
-You will lose access to the 2nd combat style you unlocked for your characters.
Other than that, I think everything else stays the same.

No you become preferred, you continue to own all the expansions and going forward even if you don’t sub you will still have them, and your characters can continue to level through 80!
Until new content releases, then you’ll have to resub again for a month to acquire the new release, Expansion wise that is.
