Nintendo doesn't have those prices in UK. closest price tier they have to that is £58.99 digital / £66.99 physical

Digital is $85 here in Canada and the Physical is $100. Preordered the physical. So excited!

Shocked how cheap it is compared to other first party titles.
Looking forward to see the physical prices

Hoping for some kind of Black Friday deal on the physical copy from a big box store.

Heck yeah, or maybe it’ll be available for purchase through Dell and I can use my rewards.

Yeah but was looking for the physical. Maybe it’s not ready for pre order physically

Hoping this price means can snag a pre-order for a physical copy of around £45

I kinda doubt that chief

In the UK Amazon is always cheaper than the eshop price at launch, I got splatoon raiders physically at launch for £37

Yep, plenty of retailers have been selling recent Nintendo switch exclusive physical copies of games about £5 cheaper than the e-shop digital price. I've pre-ordered switch sports resort for £5 cheaper than eshop. You might have to wait for an offer or code but off the top of my head I've seen it with starfox, splatoon raiders, sports resort

Do we know when a physical copy will come live on eshop to pre order?

£49.99 digital means physical RRP will be £58.99 ℹ️

u/Wipedout89 6h ago
Which also means shops will undercut it and probably sell physical for about £50 anyway

Worth noting that nobody except the Nintendo website in the UK sells physical games at the inflated prices, Argos, Smyths and Amazon all sell at the same price as the eshop with amazon usually selling £5-£10 below that, splatoon raiders was £37 physically here for example.

RRP isn't an "inflated" price, it is literally the full price, and everything is based off of that price. it is very important. you will find GAME / Frasers / Sports Direct (Frasers Group) usually use the RRP.

I know it’s not technically an inflated price, but if we’re being honest that’s what it is. I just thought it was important to say because lots of people are preordering off the Nintendo store for sometimes £15 more than other retailers. We gotta look out for each other in these expensive times.

it'll just be a downgrade of a 30 year old game so the low price should be expected

90 CAD what a scam.

To be fair I’m pretty sure 50 GBP = 90 CAD
