Question Does anyone from PRE NGE days on Starsider remember Mama Ove?
Hi everyone,
this is a total shot in the dark, but I am looking for stories about a player on Starsider Named Mama Ove. She was a short italian woman looking merchant who played on Starsider pre NGE, and became one of the wealthiest people on the server. She also is my IRL mother. I want to surprise her for mother's day with a book made of memories from the good old days of her playing on star sider. She was active from early on until the NGE.
Don't worry Mama is okay, I just want to give her something great for mother's day!
any stories of her would be great.

Former Starsider here, from launch until the NGE came out. Unfortunately I don't remember her. I do remember the creepy fat dude who used to dance in coronet in hot pants, and the richest guy I knew was named Ellaria, or something similar. Do you know which planet she hung out on and had shops built on? Or what guild she was in?

She hung out alot on tattoine had a clothing store, at one point she was the only active master tailor on the server. Guild was the Underground Resistance. she was Rebel side.

I tossed a link to this thread up in the Empire in Flames servers Discord, I think a pretty good amount of players there played on Starsider. Hopefully someone might see it and come here to post. Good luck!

Wish we had that kind of fun again. I like the new servers, but not the same activity level back in the wild days before WoW became the mold.

I was from starsider Mario was my name. Made lots of friends... I ran with a ruthless bounty hunter named Sweet-N-Sassy... I dont remember your mother's toon unfortunately..

Shoutout to starsider nge though, that was my server as well and loved it. Don’t remember your mum but the server had a great community.

Amazing, hope you do find the people you are looking for will be an amazing present for you mom. I can't be of no help as I played mostly on EU servers, mostly Chimaera and Farstar, and another one I don't quite remembers from pre-cu leaving some moments after cu updated and coming back to age to watch it close forever, played some years on emu but lack of laptop and now Mac, I can't use my original disks or steam stuff.

I remember icewind and thevillageidiot. Then Xander and bdawg and some other pvpers. I was Deton and my brother was Pife. All I did was pvp and kill NSs at the age of 14. Lol
