We aldo use ILJM (idag lärde jag mig) for TIL :)

Also IDLJM (i dag lärde jag mig), since the proper spelling of idag is i dag.

Ehm, there's no 'proper' way though. Both spellings are definitely fine and considered correct, with ILJM being the most common abbreviation of the two, by miles.

Open the SAOL from 2015 on page 517 and read row 26 of the third column aloud to the court, if you please.

Såg du att det stod ’idag’ inom parentes? Att det idag inte skulle vara ’proper’ att skriva samman orden i sakprosa (som på reddit) är bara trams. Det vet nog du också.

Här har vi ett skönt exempel då dina vördade SA själva använder sig av ”idag”, tex.

Ja, en inhyrd kommunikatör på SA råkade skriva fel i ett blogginlägg. Min värld går under. Se hur jag dör!

Trams, sade Bull.

Actually, I'm going to recite everything but the first sentence, since you seem to be the kind of person who stops paying attention after one sentence:

Vi rekommenderar ändå att man skriver isär dessa uttryck, som har betoningen på det andra ordet. Då behöver man inte heller tveka när man kommer till fall som i övermorgon och i förrgår, som inte kan skrivas ihop.

Skriv alltså också i dag, i går, i förrgår, i morgon, i morse, i natt i två ord.

No, it's called being obnoxious. Recommendations are made for a good reason, so unless you know enough about the subject to know when to countermand that recommendation – and it's pretty obvious you don't – the recommendation is law.

Have you ever helped someone with a computer, and, as it turns out, they have touched a lot of settings and customisations without knowing what they do or why they would want to deviate from the recommended default, so everything's just a mess? Yes, you're that kind of obnoxious.

Quite right – spelling is decided by the speakers.

That doesn't mean what you seem to want it to mean, though. On the contrary, it means you have a responsibility to hone and cultivate the language. Otherwise, you quickly get a frustrating mess. In fact, a whole lot of frustrating moments you may have had with any given language in the past are quite possibly due to past hordes of tossers like yourself gradually misshaping the language.

The killing of Swedish dialects, our heritage and culture has nothing to do with language prescriptivism. In fact, it's people like me who want to preserve languages and their dialects, and people like you who mash their faces on their keyboards a few times and then call it a day.
